Situated on a 240 acre working dairy farm we benefit from some of the best outstanding and uninterrupted views overlooking the historic coastal town of Kidwelly, with its ancient Norman castle, towards the Gower peninsular and surrounding countryside. We are within easy reach of local main roads and attractions which include the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Pembrey national park and Oakwood theme park.

Penlan Isaf is well situated for touring the local area. Located in an uncommercialised, peaceful and quiet area of West Wales it is the ideal getaway for a perfect weekend (or longer) break. Enjoy a visit to the recently completed Millennium Coastal Park at Llanelli with cycle track and impressive 8 mile sandy beach. In addition, due to our proximity to Carmarthen, Llanelli and other key tourist centres, it also makes us well placed for day trips to these local attractions. |

Kidwelly, with its' Norman castle, built in 1106 and its striking twin towered gatehouse, added in 1422,is the local town to Penlan Isaf and includes a variety of inns and public houses, where excellent bar meals are available. In  addition other local attractions include the industrial heritage museum, Pembrey Country Park and Motorsport centre, airfield and proposed horse racing course and all lie within approximately 10 minutes raveling time. The National Botanical Gardens, Laugharne (famous for Dylan Thomas' Boathouse) and many Pembrokeshire attractions are about a half hour drive. |
